CM Full-Field Panel/LED Optical Inspection System

For comprehensive optical-product analysis by R&D departments and rapid on-line measurement by QC departments, the CM series was specially developed in 1997 as a three-wavelength light source for measuring the optical characteristics of CCFL, BLU, LCM, and LCD.
Its characteristics suit the measurement of all kinds of optical products, and it is designed around the response of the human eye to match natural-viewing characteristics.

Ultra-high inspection efficiency:

On average, every optical workpiece is accurately inspected for all luminance and chromaticity information within 2 seconds; more than 10,000 workpieces can be inspected per day, with statistical analysis of the Ca, Cp, and Cpk quality trends for every product.

  • Automatically captures the back light position.
  • Automatically captures the LED positions for measurement and automatically counts the number of LEDs.

All-round point, line, and area measurement:

Whether the standard 13 points, 25 points, 81 points, or even 160 points or higher — up to 10,000 points or more can be configured. Operation is simple, and setup is completed in just a few seconds before measurement.

All-round optical-characteristic analysis:
  • Dynamic display of 3D luminance surface plots for easy analysis.
  • A variety of linear luminance-distribution analysis functions, instantly presenting luminance-difference and rate-of-change values.
  • x, y chromaticity-coordinate distribution chart, with every point clearly visible; combined with RANK specification control, differences appear instantly.
  • Combined with the CIE1931 diagram, color distribution is seen at a glance.
  • Automatically plots the LED light bar luminance-and-chromaticity distribution chart, leaving no luminance or chromaticity variation undetected.
  • Automatically determines whether the center-point luminance, the luminance/x, y chromaticity uniformity, and the average value meet specification, with an alarm display; with SPC control, quality is visible — it automatically calculates luminance-and-chromaticity uniformity, maximum, minimum, and average values, with a rapid display of measurement information.
  • Dimensional measurement and rapid export of measurement information to EXCEL, with photos and annotations also exportable.
  • High-precision, high-speed optical luminance and chromaticity inspection; luminance measurement range: 10–30,000 cd/m2, luminance repeatability: ±1.5%, chromaticity repeatability: CIE(x,y) chromaticity ±0.003, under specified light-source conditions.
LED Pitch Automatic Measurement Module
  • Image annotation: dimensional marking and notes can be made for MURA defect locations.
  • Accurately calculates the pitch dimension between LEDs.
  • 20-channel 10mA–30mA independent feedback-controlled power supply.
  • Set values can be controlled directly from the software, with the actual output voltage / current / frequency displayed.
  • The current of each LED string can be precisely controlled, and each group can independently set its current or ON/OFF.
  • Universal LED light bar fixture: positions the light bar for both Front view and Side view.
