Five-Axis Specialized Inspection for TFT-LCM and Backlight (B/L) Panel Fabs
For the optoelectronics industry and its related sectors, as panel sizes keep growing beyond 54 inches, the measurement of these large flat workpieces requires capturing both front-view and side dimensions. In the past, attempts to solve this problem relied on touch-probe CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) systems or imaging combined with a prism. MiDFUN has specifically developed the Multi-View function to inspect all dimensions on every plane in a single pass, with accurate automatic measurement and no need to flip the workpiece.
1. Dual-plane non-contact image measurement, with a full field of view and no blind spots; automatic switching between front-view and side-view imaging and automatic control and adjustment of the upper and lower light sources.
2. Auto-zoom and auto-focus, with no concern over tilt.
3. Laser height measurement; measures thickness up to 200mm.
4. No probe-related measurement blind spots — it solves the problems of a probe being unable to reach into small holes on the workpiece and of repeated repositioning, and it avoids the high cost of a conventional CMM machine.
