Our company is a member of the Lienhwa Mitac Group, one of Taiwan’s top ten conglomerates, jointly established by Lien Hwa Industrial Corporation and Germany’s Linde Group. Members of this conglomerate include Lien Hwa Industrial, Mitac Computer, Mitac International, Synnex Technology International, UPC Technology, Linde LienHwa Industrial Gases, and others. Members of this gases group include Linde LienHwa Industrial Gases, LienYa Technology, LienYou Technology, Far East Gases, Yuan Rong Gases, Lien Feng Precision Technology Development, Lien Sheng Gases, Lien Chuan Gases, Lien Yang Gases, Lien Tong Gases, Lien Hwa Cryogenic Equipment, Lien Kuo Medical, Lien Hwa United LPG, and Lien Shi Electronic Chemical Materials, among others. Our company is the largest gas manufacturer in Taiwan, producing and supplying the oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, and other specialty gases required by various industries, along with the design, construction, supply, and on-site services for related equipment.
Owing to TSMC’s requirements on its suppliers in recent years, Linde LienHwa Industrial Gases, as an important supplier in the electronics and semiconductor sector, reached out to MiDFUN through its affiliated enterprise Ares International to inquire about SPC-related professional matters. After in-depth discussions between the two parties, they found that they were highly complementary. Ares International is ORACLE’s agent in Taiwan and also a major ERP system provider, so it proposed a plan led by Ares, with MiDFUN supporting the enhancement of the quality control SPC component. In a presentation in 2015, it became clear that Linde LienHwa’s quality control needs were quite similar to those of other TSMC suppliers. After MiDFUN shared its experience from other comparable suppliers, the two parties hit it off immediately and deployed the SPC, MDC, and COM systems that same year. Among these, the ERP→MDC→SPC flow allowed Ares and Linde LienHwa IT to integrate quickly and smoothly, which was what put Linde LienHwa IT most at ease.
In 2017, Linde LienHwa Industrial Gases expanded the number of SPC-PLUS users, and MiDFUN developed an automated transfer-and-analysis capability for the portions of the machine and process i-HISTORY that required SPC analysis, allowing SPC PLUS to carry out subsequent analysis smoothly. It went into formal operation in 2019, enhancing real-time analysis and control capabilities so that automation and efficiency were on par with overseas systems. In 2020, Linde LienHwa Industrial Gases planned a further WORSE CHART and an automated intelligent system, and scheduled the optimization of the existing big data from P->Q. In 2023, it is planning an AIQ system & LIMS as well as COM system integration, comprehensively strengthening the automated quality system and customer-complaint response capabilities.
