Linde LienHwa Industrial Gases: Adopting the MiDFUN SPC & COM (8D) System

Our company is a member of the Lien Hwa Mitac Group, one of the top ten conglomerates in the country, jointly founded by Lien Hwa Industrial Corporation and the German Linde Group. Members of the group include Lien Hwa Industrial, Mitac, Mio (Mitac International), Synnex International, UPC Technology, Linde LienHwa Industrial Gases, and others. Members of this gases group include Linde LienHwa Industrial Gases, Lienya Technology, Lienyou Technology, Far East Gases, Yuan Rong Gases, Lien Feng Precision Technology Development, Lien Sheng Gases, Lien Chuan Gases, Lien Yang Gases, Lien Tong Gases, Lien Hwa Cryogenic Equipment, Lien Kuo Medical, Lien Hwa United LPG, and Lien Shih Electronic Chemical Materials.

The story of how Linde LienHwa Industrial Gases first adopted MiDFUN SPC is actually quite interesting. It was introduced through its affiliated company, DSC (Data Systems Consulting) ERP. At the time, the TSXC supply chain required suppliers to automate SPC and COM_8D needs. Linde LienHwa originally sought a turnkey solution from its affiliate DSC, but after consideration DSC asked industry expert MiDFUN to take on the quality system portion. The adoption of MiDFUN SPC was therefore primarily the ORACLE version, transferring data from the ERP to SPC to produce the charts and reports the customer required. After a year of cooperation, the work gradually deepened into the analysis and automation of Industry 4.0 data and command-center data, automatically transferring gas data from each plant’s tank trucks and factory data into the MiDFUN SPC project system, and after automated analysis connecting to the data center in Munich. Over the following years the two sides gradually developed more cooperation. We hope that after 2023, in addition to affiliates such as Lien Shih also adopting MiDFUN, there will be more in-depth cooperation, so that the quality automation of our specialty gases applied in semiconductors will generate greater competitiveness on the world stage!
