MSA Instrument Management Calibration and Analysis System, COM Nonconformance Handling Platform (8D/CAR)

Gudeng Precision Industrial Corp. is an integrated service provider of innovative technologies for critical materials. It ranks first worldwide in market share for EUV Pod, the high-end photomask transport and carrier solution for advanced semiconductor processes below 7 nanometers, and the customers it serves are all major global semiconductor companies. By replicating its experience in moving from traditional industry into semiconductor carriers, Gudeng obtained SAI Global AS 9100d aerospace certification in 2020 and began small-batch shipments for customer-side validation, crossing from CNC precision machining technology into the aerospace precision-component market and entering the supply chains of the world’s two leading commercial-aircraft manufacturers. Gudeng has thus become one of the few high-quality companies in Taiwan to hold both semiconductor and aerospace products. To advance toward “AI Smart Manufacturing,” Gudeng continues to strengthen its IT capabilities, successively adopting information systems such as SAP ERP, BPM, PLM, MES, WMS, SPC, MSA, and LMS, and continuously carrying out business process reengineering to strengthen production and manufacturing capabilities and improve product quality.

In 2014 and 2020, Gudeng Precision respectively adopted MiDFUN Co., Ltd.’s MSA system and COM (8D) customer-complaint system. The MSA system evolved from version 3.0 to 4.0 of that time, spanning Shulin, Tucheng, and the Southern Taiwan Science Park. The COM system, driven by a major customer’s requirement for systematization, was chosen from among several vendors after evaluation: MiDFUN’s self-defined nonconformance forms and rigorous 8D control process won high praise from the customer for the company’s dedication to quality control, and laid the foundation for the rapid growth that followed.
