最後更新:2026.06.22

About Jentech Precision

Jentech Precision Industrial Co., Ltd. was founded in 1987 and now has more than 30 years of history. It was listed publicly in November 2009 and serves as a direct supplier to international leaders such as IBM, SONY, and OSRAM. Its two main product lines are CPU / GPU heat spreaders and SMD LED lead frames.

The company is built on high-precision mold development and automated mass-production capability, and it offers a vertically integrated process that includes design, mold development, stamping technology, plastic injection molding, sandblasting and electroplating surface treatment, machining technology, and assembly operations. It comprehensively integrates customer requirements and provides the convenience and service of one-stop sourcing.

From engineering development through to mass production, the company continually pursues innovative production methods to raise product quality, shorten development timelines, and improve production efficiency, thereby strengthening its customers’ competitiveness in both market and production cost. It maintains production sites in Guishan (headquarters) and Dayuan in Taiwan and in Wuxi, mainland China, and has established service offices in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia to deliver products and services to customers in real time and meet their needs.

How Jentech Precision and MiDFUN Began Working Together

The collaboration between MiDFUN and Jentech first began in 2007, when Jentech initially adopted the MiDFUN AIM fully automated image measurement system to replace the repetitive measurement of workpieces previously performed by staff. This cut measurement time by one third, freeing staff to devote more time and energy to higher-value work, and it meant the company no longer needed to hire additional personnel for repetitive tasks.

Jentech Precision Begins Adopting Quality-Related Systems

As the plant continually expanded and its production lines and product lines grew, ordinary OFFICE and ERP tools were no longer sufficient for monitoring product quality, handling internal and external anomalies, and managing instruments. Combined with the difficulty of achieving TS16949 certification, Jentech turned to MiDFUN Co., Ltd., the largest quality-system vendor in Taiwan, for assistance. Beginning in 2010, it successively adopted the SPC quality-monitoring system, the MSA instrument-management system, and the COM anomaly-management system, gradually phasing out paper-based operations across the plant. Deeper adoption of MiDFUN systems began in 2014; through this digitalization process, on-site staff worked more efficiently, product quality became easier to monitor, and customer complaints dropped significantly. During this period, the systems were progressively extended to the related Dayuan plant and the Wuxi plant in mainland China. In automation, automatic alerts, and the automatic distribution of management reports to supervisors, management efficiency improved further, earning customer praise and saving a great deal of manpower; systematization also reduced the disruption caused by staff turnover.

Even more noteworthy is the integration of heterogeneous systems: the MiDFUN SPC inspection system was seamlessly combined with the SAP system into a single end-to-end flow. Put simply, from the initial receipt of materials in SAP through to back-end incoming inspection and in-process inspection, everything is linked through MiDFUN system inspection, so that SAP can continuously hold the latest inspection information. The MiDFUN system provides SAP with inspection results for each station and each batch, making the information more timely. In addition to the automation of material receipt and warehousing, which effectively tracks the history of each batch of raw materials and semi-finished goods, it can also trace quality anomalies before shipment. This effectively lowers failure costs and substantially reduces losses of materials and semi-finished goods.

In 2018, after MiDFUN transferred its API package system, Jentech developed its own MES-SPC linking system. After it went live in 2019, an identical interface merged the online process and inspection into one, using the system to control and integrate production and inspection information. With more and more customers requiring small-volume, high-variety production, Jentech can now carry out flexible production effectively and grasp quality information in real time, mastering the variations in production and inspection at every station even while producing small-volume, high-variety products. By controlling everything through the system, it avoids the situation where staff cannot keep up with flexible changes, getting one step ahead in preparing for the Industry 4.0 production model. MiDFUN Co., Ltd. provided many years of technical experience and implementation expertise in this area, enabling Jentech to reach its goals efficiently. The hope is that within the next three years, small-volume, high-variety production will be internalized and international competitiveness effectively raised!
