Adopting MiDFUN Co., Ltd. – MSA & SPC System
The parent company was founded by Mr. Chou Wan-Shun. Starting from scratch, he launched the business in 1972. The company has 2,300 employees, including 300 R&D personnel. Product overview: I-Chiun Precision Industry Co., Ltd.’s parent company manufactures four kinds of semiconductor integrated-circuit products: (1) power semiconductor lead frames, (2) optocoupler lead frames, (3) optical sensor lead frames, and (4) IC lead frames. The product line has now advanced to LED high-power and ceramic lead frames, such as automotive headlamp lead frames, and to high-current, high-voltage products such as self-driving automotive navigation and detection systems, short-, medium- and long-range detection and 3D sensing, ceramic lead frame modules, and high-power ceramic lead frame substrates ranging from 2 watts to 10 watts at high current.
I-Chiun Precision began adopting the MiDFUN SPC & MSA system in 2008. From that year onward, with MSA, we assisted in coaching the relevant personnel on professional knowledge as well as MSA theory and application, helping the company pass customer audits — and in doing so the two sides built a deep friendship. Later, SPC automation was introduced for its vernier calipers, tool microscopes, coordinate measuring machines, film thickness gauges, and various physical instruments. Systematized inspection increased inspection efficiency by several times, and also reduced subsequent inspection and instrument-purchase
costs. Building on this, a solid foundation was also laid for its automated quality reports and the subsequent supervisor QIR intelligent quality management system. In recent years, building a smart factory and the follow-on knowledge system has required even closer collaboration between the two sides to enhance automation and big-data manufacturing analytics capabilities, achieving renewed brilliance once again in the high-tech field!
