SPC Statistical Process Control System

Hu Lane Associate Inc. was founded on June 6, 1977. At its founding it engaged in metal-stamped terminal components, and in 2004 it moved into plastic connector products. Today it has become a professional connector manufacturer in the automotive and motorcycle industries, and has also branched out into the medical, solar, and other fields. Hu Lane continuously strives to refine and improve its development capabilities in tooling, processes, and related technologies, including its in-house developed products such as spot-welded terminals, EV connectors, fuse boxes, crimping machines, and rubber parts, and has expanded its sales into the global market.

From 2005 to 2015, Hu Lane Associate Inc. deployed the MiDFUN SPC system at its Xizhi (Taiwan) plant and its Nanjing plant respectively. The SPC system mainly covers the instrument automation portion: from the vernier calipers of that era to projectors and 2.5D machines, measurement data is automatically imported into SPC to control quality. In addition to the above, the Nanjing plant also included integration of tension gauges and ERP, and over the years the two sides have collaborated on many projects. Subsequent optimization training in FMEA and CP, together with the QRP training and briefing at the end of 2022, gave both sides a basis for further cooperation. In 2023 Hu Lane attended several MiDFUN seminars and afterward put forward many advanced ideas, leaving the customer deeply impressed by MiDFUN’s dedication to quality control.
